Who funds the desk

Slots Studio is funded entirely by a single revenue stream: a referral fee paid by reviewed platforms when a reader signs up through the Play now button on Slots Studio. We do not run real-money tables, we do not take deposits, and we do not place advertising banners.

What we earn and what we do not earn

  • Earn: A referral fee when a reader signs up through the Play now button on Slots Studio.
  • Do not earn: Per-deal rake, deposit fees, withdrawal fees, advertising, sponsored reviews or any payment tied to a reader's losses.

How the referral programme works

The Play now button routes through the platform's own affiliate programme. The platform pays the fee for the sign-up. Slots Studio does not earn on the reader's subsequent activity, deposit or loss; the fee is paid once per sign-up. Reviewed platforms publish their own affiliate terms; if you want to read them, the platform's footer has the link.

Affiliate disclosure in plain language

Slots Studio's editorial pages do not contain advertising. There is no display ad inventory, no sponsored placement on the homepage and no paid editorial. The Play now button is the only place a referral fee is earned; it is labelled in plain language at the point of use and in the footer of every page.

Editorial corrections

If Slots Studio publishes a fact we cannot stand behind, we correct it on the page where the fact appeared and we note the correction in the next weekly briefing. Corrections are public; what was said, what changed, when and by whom.

What Slots Studio will not publish

No sponsored reviews

A reviewed platform is reviewed because we logged it, not because the platform paid for the review. If a platform refuses to let us log it, the review is shelved.

No guaranteed-win coverage

A platform's marketing claim of a daily return on stake is logged, linked and not endorsed. Slots Studio does not publish a page that supports the claim.

No state-bypass advice

If a state restricts real-money rummy, we will not tell you how to play anyway. We list the restriction and explain how to verify it.

No fake testimonials

If a platform's marketing uses actor photos for testimonial carousels, we do not link to the carousel from Slots Studio.

Who writes the desk

The Slots Studio editorial desk is a small group of four adult readers who play thirteen-card rummy and similar skill-games for stakes they personally control. Three of the writers run a side-published hobby newsletter on Indian card games; the fourth is a former cashier at a regulated card-room who now teaches beginners locally. None of them work for any platform we review.

The desk collects no personal data from readers. We do not run a newsletter database, we do not gate content behind a sign-up, and we do not ask for an email address before showing a chapter. The sign-up form on the briefings page is the only place an email is requested, and it is clearly labelled.

If a member of the desk would like to be identified by name, the about page lists the desk's editorial standards and the desk's small group. The disclosure above is the same one linked from the footer of every Slots Studio page.
