What we collect

Slots Studio collects the email address you used to subscribe to briefings, the rough geographic region you came in from, and the pages you read on this site. We do not collect KYC documents, payment credentials or any password on any platform you reach through the Play now button.

Why we collect it

We collect this for one reason: to write and run an editorial desk well. The briefings subscription lets us send the weekly note. The geographic region and pages-read analytics let us know which chapters readers find useful. None of it is sold.

How we use it

We use the data to send briefings, to understand the audience for the editorial pages, and to detect abuse of the cashier routing. We do not run advertising, we do not sell or share the data with any third party other than the email sending service we use to send briefings, and we do not put this site on a tracking or ad-tech network.

Contact

Reach the editor's desk at the address on the customer care page.

What data Slots Studio collects and what it does not

Slots Studio does not maintain a reader database. The site does not run a comments system, a like button, or a third-party analytics tracker that survives a cookie clear. The only data the site collects is the standard server log that every web server keeps, and the log is rotated every seven days.

If a reader voluntarily sends an email to the customer-care address, the email is kept until the question is closed and then deleted. The desk does not move the email to a newsletter database, and the desk does not share the address with any reviewed platform.

The privacy policy above is the same one linked from the footer of every Slots Studio page. If the desk ever changes what is collected, the change is published on this page and acknowledged in the next weekly briefing.
